The Edmonton Student Art Society (ESAS) is a registered non-profit organization, located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Our Board of Directors, valuable volunteers and supporters share a passionate common interest in the development of young artists through education, community awareness and recognition. ESAS has no paid staff. Our volunteers, art teachers and art advocates within the community, give as much time as possible to pursue projects for students. Our goals are to support the learning and practice of visual arts by young artists from kindergarten to grade twelve in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The ESAS brings together people to form partnerships that provide resources and expertise to create opportunities. The society supports art education enhancement within established programs for young artists. These programs foster talent and visual literacy skills. ESAS also funds scholarships and exhibits student artwork within the community.
